Deadline to file 2016 individual tax return
Pay attention to the deadline for filing individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and 1040NR) for the year 2016 or to request an Automatic Extension (Form 4868). An extension provides an extra six months for filing your return. Please aware that payment of the tax is due on April 18th, 2017, because April 15th is on weekends this year. You can submit payment for tax along with the extension form.
